German sportswear giant adidas and Y-3 continue to unite sportswear and high-end fashion with their curated pieces ranging from apparel, footwear, and accessories. With Y-3 creative director Yohji Yamamoto recently celebrating his 80th birthday in 2023, this namesake collaboration featuring the adidas Stan Smith “White” is the ideal tribute to the man responsible for the success of the Y-3 franchise.

Officially unveiled during the Yohji Yamamoto Fall/Winter 23-24 showcase in Paris, this two-pack adidas Stan Smith collection celebrates two decades of history between adidas and Y-3. Flawlessly contrasting its “Black” counterpart, this rendition sports an all-white premium leather upper with debossed branding on the heel tab. Meanwhile, the black tongue juxtaposes the clean base and showcases Yohji Yamamoto’s face portrait as an ode to the Y-3 founder. Deluxe sheep skin covers the lining and sockliner for added durability and comfort. The rubber sole unit also has an all-black coating to complete this adidas Stan Smith reinterpretation.
